Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, among all US states and DC, Maine had the highest percentage of its population who identified their race as Non-Hispanic White (93.32%), followed by Vermont (92.83%), and West Virginia (92.23%).
On the other hand, Hawaii had the lowest percentage of its population who identified as Non-Hispanic White (21.87%), followed by District of Columbia (36.77%), and California (37.30%).
