Oglala Lakota County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (12,866), followed by Pennington County (9,798), and Todd County (8,685). On the other hand, McPherson County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (4), followed by Faulk County (8), and Miner County (9).
