In 2013, Eswatini had the highest unemployment rate (24.9%), followed by Lesotho (24.58%), and then South Africa (24.56%). Madagascar had the lowest unemployment rate (0.94%) in Africa in 2013.
The World Bank defines unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force that is without work but available for and seeking employment".
