Wake County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (587,589), followed by Mecklenburg County (481,209), and Guilford County (267,309). On the other hand, Tyrrell County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (2,216), followed by Hyde County (3,459), and Washington County (5,733).
