According to data from the World Bank, in 1963, South Africa had the highest GDP per Capita (US$ 601.6), followed by Libya (US$ 559.54), and Mauritius (US$ 353.11).

On the other hand, Equatorial Guinea had the lowest GDP per capita (US$ 38.3), followed by Rwanda (US$ 40.11), and Lesotho (US$ 58.14).
