According to data from the World Bank, in 2008, Equatorial Guinea had the highest GDP per Capita (US$ 19849.72), followed by Libya (US$ 13921.9), and Seychelles (US$ 11265.44).

On the other hand, Burundi had the lowest GDP per capita (US$ 194.71), followed by Democratic Republic of the Congo (US$ 317.89), and Ethiopia (US$ 320.86).
