Youth Unemployment Rate of African Countries in 2003

In 2003, South Africa had the highest total youth unemployment rate (60.43%), followed by Djibouti (57.21%), and then Eswatini (52.77%). Benin had the lowest total youth unemployment rate (0.98%) in Africa in 2003.

The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
