Youth Unemployment Rate of African Countries in 2003

In 2003, Djibouti had the highest total youth unemployment rate (59.16%), followed by Eswatini (52.9%), and then Botswana (46.77%). Benin had the lowest total youth unemployment rate (0.98%) in Africa in 2003.

The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
