Youth Unemployment Rate of African Countries in 1992

In 1992, Lesotho had the highest total youth unemployment rate (51.09%), followed by South Africa (49.97%), and then Libya (44.62%). Rwanda had the lowest total youth unemployment rate (0.46%) in Africa in 1992.

The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
