Youth Unemployment Rate of African Countries in 2006

In 2006, Djibouti had the highest total youth unemployment rate (62.47%), followed by Eswatini (56.01%), and then Libya (46.96%). Benin had the lowest total youth unemployment rate (1.44%) in Africa in 2006.

The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
