Youth Unemployment Rate of African Countries in 2014

In 2014, Djibouti had the highest total youth unemployment rate (71.3%), followed by Libya (50.58%), and then Eswatini (49.19%). Niger had the lowest total youth unemployment rate (0.67%) in Africa in 2014.

The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
