Youth Unemployment Rate of African Countries in 2014

In 2014, Djibouti had the highest total youth unemployment rate (72.53%), followed by South Africa (51.51%), and then Libya (50.42%). Niger had the lowest total youth unemployment rate (0.66%) in Africa in 2014.

The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
